Job summary

Nexcess in the United States is seeking a senior frontend engineer to own frontend features end to end within the Network Solutions domain. You will translate product requirements into clear frontend solutions, build intuitive interfaces, and ensure production readiness.

You will work with backend and platform engineers, apply AI-assisted tooling in day-to-day development, and mentor others while owning code quality and deployments across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend software engineering experience.
• 5+ years with React or Vue.
• Experience building and maintaining complex web applications.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services.
• Experience writing automated frontend tests and validating production changes.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend features end to end within the Network Solutions domain.
• Build and maintain modern web interfaces using React or Vue.
• Translate product and technical requirements into clear frontend solutions.
• Create intuitive interfaces for complex networking functionality.
• Work closely with backend and platform engineers to integrate APIs and services.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools as part of daily workflow.
• Verify changes with evidence through automated tests and production validation.
• Review frontend code and provide actionable feedback on quality and maintainability.
• Work safely in existing and unfamiliar codebases and leave code better tested and documented.
• Own what you run by participating in production support and incident investigation.
• Mentor other engineers and share frontend engineering practices.
• Coordinate dependencies across teams to align frontend with backend and product requirements.
