JOB SUMMARY

You will be one of the senior engineers building a new headless front-end for one of the most visited news sites in the world. The team has an aggressive goal of launching a first page early next year. You will shape the architecture, set front-end standards, and work with AI-assisted workflows in the news media industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• - Design and build the new headless front-end architecture.
• - Deliver the initial launch page within the early-next-year schedule.
• - Establish front-end standards, component patterns, testing frameworks, and code review processes.
• - Maintain ownership of performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and accessibility.
• - Connect user interfaces with headless CMS platforms and internal APIs.
• - Mentor team members and collaborate closely with the Core Web engineering manager.
• - Implement and refine AI-driven agentic workflows across the development lifecycle.
