MaziCTools in the USA is seeking a Senior Front End Software Developer to provide technical leadership and deliver high-performance web features using Node.js and React. You will collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to drive features, code quality, and platform improvements while enforcing design reviews, CI, and test-driven development.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 6+ years experience.
• Strong CS foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Expertise in React, Angular, Ember and Node.js.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and OO JavaScript.
• Experience with Web technologies (Node, HTTP, JSON, Webpack).
• Experience with test-driven development and UI testing frameworks (Jest, Selenium, WebdriverIO, Puppeteer, Cypress).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Enforce design reviews, code reviews, CI, and test‑driven development.
• Drive technical excellence and implementation of best engineering practices.
• Lead hands‑on implementation work to keep current with technology trends inside and outside Yahoo.
• Build and deliver high‑quality and high‑performance features for our users on the Web (Node.js/React).
• Collaborate with user experience designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver new features, enhancements, platform improvements, and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with other engineers to write testable, reliable code, continuously deploying to production systems.
• Grow in a culture of learning through design discussions and code reviews.
• Deploy, monitor, and operate large‑scale production systems distributed across the globe.
• Analyze and optimize application/platform code and/or APIs for efficiency and performance.
