Job summary

MaziCTools is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, prototype, and deliver front‑end and back‑end components for client projects in the USA. You will drive solutions, collaborate across teams, and ensure quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities include deploying services, managing data, and maintaining reliability while aligning with security and regulatory requirements. Strong Java/Python skills and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Programmer or related software development role.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot, and strong knowledge of Java, Python, Spring framework, microservices, and APIs.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, Route53, etc.) or comparable cloud provider.
• Backend development experience with Java, Python, and microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases, SQL databases, and data storage solutions.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, etc.).
• Familiarity with web servers (Apache), application servers (IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, WebLogic) and database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong testing experience using BDD/TDD principles.
• Understanding of security practices and 12‑factor application guidelines.
• Proficiency in source control and build tooling (GitHub, Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prototype, and present new front‑end and back‑end components to clients to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Support development and implementation of related solutions, tools, and processes.
• Collaborate with specialist groups, business stakeholders, and team leads to meet vision and requirements.
• Design solutions to meet practical and specialized prerequisites.
• Adapt to security and compliance system requirements.
• Own quality; write comprehensive automated tests prior to coding.
• Write clean, maintainable code.
• Establish continuous integration pipelines and automation scripts.
• Deploy and manage services, data sets, and monitoring.
• Conduct availability and reliability design for services.
• Resolve issues from development through production, including production support on call.
