Lively is a remote-first company building a comprehensive benefits platform across the US. We seek a senior front-end software engineer to craft investment and financial product experiences for a growing user base.

You will design and implement features with a focus on quality, security, and performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging modern frontend tech and Storybook-driven UI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with a strong frontend background.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Storybook and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Able to design scalable, high-performance web apps and architectures.
• Experience with agile/scrum and collaborating across teams.
• Strong problem-solving, proactive mindset, and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and provide feedback on product requirements.
• Implement features with clean, maintainable code and tests.
• Ensure software quality through automated unit tests and reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and propose improvements.
