About the role

As a frontend engineer, you will work with core web technologies and Python to build complex UI components that empower users to develop powerful applications with minimal code. You will respond quickly to the changing needs of our user base to enable new and exciting use cases.

You will help maintain a popular open-source library and nurture an engaged community, encouraging contributions and usage of the tools you build. Collaboration will be daily with researchers, ML practitioners, data scientists, and software engineers via GitHub, Discord, and Slack.

About You

You are passionate about open source and making machine learning accessible. You have experience with TypeScript and a JS framework (React or Svelte preferred). You are comfortable working with core web APIs (canvas, audio, etc.).

Ideally, you have a few years of experience, keep users at the forefront, and enjoy collaboration. While technical skills are important, we value kindness, thoughtfulness, and engagement.
