Job summary

Sift is hiring a frontend engineer to build high-performance data visualization interfaces for telemetry data. You’ll collaborate with backend teams on API design and implement clean, scalable UI using React, NextJS, and TypeScript, with Tailwind and Radix UI for design systems.

Based in Marina Del Rey, CA, this role involves in-person collaboration twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) and potential relocation to LA or SF for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications and data-driven tools.
• Strong experience building production applications with React, NextJS, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and browser rendering.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS and component libraries like Radix UI for design systems.

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance data visualization interfaces and reusable component libraries for complex telemetry data.
• Create intuitive data exploration UIs for large real-time datasets.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API design and implementation for seamless UX.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in technical design discussions.
