Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology Bristol, CT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Frontend Web and Experience team to build reusable JavaScript libraries and UI components for the digital supply chain tools.

The role focuses on implementing business logic, code reviews, and leading technical initiatives in an agile environment with a focus on scalable web solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years in web development or software engineering.
Mastery of HTTP server and proxy technologies (HAProxy, NGINX, Apache).
Extensive experience with NodeJS and/or Java/Kotlin.
Extensive experience with cloud native technologies such as AWS EC2, Fargate, and CloudFront.
Experience with frontend web development technologies and principles.

Responsibilities

Creating and maintaining shared JavaScript libraries and UI components.
Implementing business logic of various tool workflows.
Reviewing others JavaScript and TypeScript code.
Acting as a tech leader for various projects and initiatives.
Employ test driven development and agile development practices.
