Bask Health is building software infrastructure for telehealth. We seek a senior software engineer to design, build, and ship patient-focused experiences end-to-end in a serverless Next.js stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Full-stack generalist with product-from-0-to-1 experience and patient-facing systems.
• Strong frontend skills: React, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, JavaScript.
• Backend skills: tRPC, Drizzle ORM, SQL, Node.js, SST.
• Able to own projects end-to-end and communicate timelines clearly.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment with hands-on approach.
• Experience building paid products preferred; React Native/Expo a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship high-quality product experiences from concept through production.
• Work across the stack from UI to API to database.
• Leverage AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code) to explore solutions and scaffold components.
• Prototype quickly, validate with patients and care teams, and refine solutions.
• Build scalable architectural patterns and take ownership of the codebase.
• Create transparent AI-enabled systems that support patients and providers.
• Improve performance, accessibility, and reliability with the team.
• Document AI-native prompts, patterns, and workflows.
