Job summary

Glocomms is seeking a Software Engineer II to help build scalable frontend applications for digital twin and infrastructure management. You will contribute to 3D visualization, collaboration tools, and large-scale frontend systems used by engineers, owners, and contractors across transportation, utilities, and buildings.

The role emphasizes TypeScript/React development, micro-frontend architecture, and end-to-end testing within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years frontend development with TypeScript and React.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and end-to-end testing.
• Experience building component-based UIs and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of data structures, OO programming, and modern software practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver frontend features using TypeScript, React, Cesium, and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain reusable micro-frontend components in a large monorepo.
• Create intuitive 3D visualization and collaboration experiences for digital twin workflows.
• Write clean, well-tested code with strong unit and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and architectural discussions.
• Document technical decisions and feature implementations.
• Mentor team members through collaboration, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
