Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

We’re hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of our frontend architecture and help lead the next phase of our platform’s evolution — starting with a brand-new Embedded Analytics project.

This is not just another coding job. You’ll define and evangelize QBench’s frontend development philosophy, implement a unified design system, mentor other engineers, and directly shape the user experience of products that impact real science.

You’ll work closely with design, product, and backend teams to implement reusable, scalable UI systems and lead modernization efforts across our growing application surface area.

• Architect scalable, maintainable, and modern frontend systems in React
• Build and roll out a design system using tokens, reusable components, and clear documentation
• Lead the frontend implementation of Embedded Analytics — a greenfield initiative showcasing your vision for scalable UI
• Create onboarding documentation and promote best practices across the team
• Mentor engineers and guide frontend quality standards (testing, performance, accessibility)
• Partner with design and product to translate ideas into production-ready experiences

Required

• Experience building and maintaining large-scale frontend systems and reusable component libraries
• Deep understanding of architecture patterns, state management, and performance tuning
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• A bias for action and ownership — you identify problems and drive solutions proactively
• Deep experience building and scaling production applications using Tailwind CSS
• You should be fluent in utility-first design principles, responsive layout strategies, and semantic, accessible HTML
• You’ve implemented or contributed to Tailwind-based component libraries and enforced consistency across large codebases

Preferred:

• Experience implementing or evolving a design system from scratch
• Experience migrating a codebase to a more modern frontend architecture
• Familiarity with visual regression testing, Figma integration, or building analytics-heavy interfaces
• Background working on B2B SaaS or enterprise tools
