Senior Frontend Developer – Conversion & Purchase Experience

Location: Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA

About the Role

Join a leading OTT entertainment provider delivering the culture and art of anime to over 100 million fans across 200+ countries. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you'll design and build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that ensure a seamless acquisition and secure checkout experience. Your work will directly influence key growth metrics and fan engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with design, product, quality, and data teams to build robust, scalable features.
• Solve complex UI/UX challenges to optimize the user journey from acquisition through checkout.
• Develop and maintain modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Contribute across the stack, including backend development using Node.js or Java.
• Drive initiatives from design through to production deployment in a cloud environment.
• Continuously improve performance, reliability, and accessibility of frontend systems.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• 2+ years of backend development experience (Node.js, Java, etc.).
• Solid understanding of full-stack application development and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Demonstrated ability to independently design, implement, and deploy features end-to-end.
• Experience with checkout flows or marketing/acquisition funnels is a strong plus.
