Job summary

Molex in Austin, TX is seeking a Frontend Architect to drive design and architecture of scalable, high-performance frontend applications, leveraging React/Angular/Vue.js and Power Platform to support digital transformation.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, establish design systems, ensure security and accessibility, build CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers while aligning with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS / IS or related field.
• 5+ years frontend architecture with React/Angular/Vue.js and Power Platform.
• 4+ years building enterprise UI components including PCF controls and Azure-integrated frontend.
• 5+ years of JS/TS, HTML5, CSS3/SASS with UI/UX best practices.
• Experience designing REST/GraphQL APIs for frontend integration.
• Build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Webpack, Vite, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, WCAG 2.1.
• SDLC, frontend security, regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Azure services exposure (AD Entra, CDN, storage) and domain-driven design.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure frontend apps using modern JS frameworks.
• Architect modular UI with reusable design systems and state management.
• Develop and maintain frontend build and deployment pipelines; CI/CD.
• Create PCF controls for PowerApps to enhance UX.
• Ensure security and regulatory compliance in frontend solutions.
• Collaborate with global teams and mentor junior developers.
• Monitor performance and optimize with Lighthouse and Application Insights.
• Document architecture and governance; manage technical debt.
