Conductor is a mission-driven company committed to innovation, customer success, and culture. For Conductor, success is improving the lives of all the people in our orbit—our customers, our customers' customers, our employee-owners, and our communities.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our dedicated full-stack team focused on Website Monitoring. You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing intuitive, performant interfaces that visualize complex monitoring data, surface real-time alerts, and empower users to act on insights.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain responsive and high-performance UIs for Website Monitoring using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and CSS Modules (SASS).
  • Build and evolve reusable components aligned with our in-house design system.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate with APIs to fetch, display, and interact with monitoring data, alerts, and change histories.
  • Develop robust data visualizations for real-time insights, trends, and audit trails.
  • Drive continuous improvement in performance, scalability, and reliability of front-end solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and website monitoring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, ideally in SaaS or web-based products
  • Advanced proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SASS.
  • Experience with responsive design and building accessible, user-centric interfaces.
  • Demonstrated expertise in API integration and handling real-time data.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to document technical decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with website monitoring, SEO auditing, or analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of compliance, accessibility, and web standards.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.

Why Join Us?

Website Monitoring is the digital safety net for modern businesses. As a Senior Front-End Engineer on this team, your work will ensure that organizations are always a step ahead, catching critical issues before they impact search rankings, compliance, or reputation. You’ll help build interfaces that turn real-time monitoring data into actionable insights, empowering users to make decisions that protect and grow their brands. You'll thrive in this role if you’re passionate about building robust, user-friendly products that make a tangible impact.
