Job summary

Fast Dolphin is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to lead front-end work using Vue.js, with optional Python collaboration for backend alignment. This remote role requires strong English proficiency and comfort working in Agile teams, with quarterly travel to Hartford, CT.

The ideal candidate will drive the migration of Vue 2 applications to Vue 3, build scalable UI components, and integrate with RESTful services while coordinating with backend developers and product owners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience developing web applications with Vue.js.
• Vue 2 and Vue 3 experience including migration from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
• Professional experience with Python.
• Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Some mentoring or coaching of junior developers.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Vue.js (Vue 2 & Vue 3).
• Participate in migrating existing applications from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
• Build reusable, responsive frontend components and connect with RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with backend developers using Python to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance; participate in code reviews.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and work with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum.
