Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions seeks a Senior Front-End Application Engineer with an active TS/SCI polygraph clearance to lead secure, data-driven frontend work for the WEBCANDID and TESTFLIGHT tools. You will help redevelop a brand-new frontend with optimal accessibility and performance, while supporting ongoing software development and sustainment for mission-critical reporting interfaces.

Expect to work on-site in Maryland, with a strong emphasis on 508 accessibility and cross-application data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline; PLUS 7+ years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma/GED PLUS 11+ years of hands-on development experience
• Advanced mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; strong Java 8+ experience
• Hands-on development with Angular, Google Web Toolkit (GWT), PrimeFaces, and Quarkus; scalable web interfaces
• Ability to understand, maintain, and troubleshoot complex data interfaces across multiple applications
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements and accessibility-driven frontend redevelopment

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, data-driven frontend interfaces for the Reporting Tool Suite
• Lead accessibility-driven frontend redevelopment and a brand-new frontend interface
• Support immediate software development and sustainment for WEBCANDID and TESTFLIGHT tools
• Collaborate across teams to ensure high-performance and accessible UI
