Job summary

Base-2 Solutions in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer 3 to support the DOMEX Platform for a DoD program. Most tasks are performed on-site at the client location in Bethesda, with occasional remote work possible depending on requirements.

You will develop web apps using ReactJS or Angular, write tests, refine UI, and collaborate with teams. A Top Secret clearance is required; TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is preferred as per qualifications.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in the field or 9 years without a degree.
• 2+ years of professional front-end experience with ReactJS or Angular.
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills; handling HTTP requests for JSON data.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities; able to work in Agile environments.
• Experience with front-end testing and familiarity with backend APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS or Angular frameworks.
• Code, test, and debug new and existing web applications.
• Implement and refine user interfaces.
• Conduct thorough unit testing using automated tooling.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure performance and usability.
• Peer review code written by team members.
• Utilize Docker/Podman for virtualization and deployment.
