Job summary

UTA in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer - Front End to design and maintain web applications using modern front-end technologies.

You will work with our design and development teams to create innovative and user-friendly web applications, with a focus on continuous testing, mobile experience, and cloud technologies. The role emphasizes building reusable components, optimizing performance, and integrating APIs and GraphQL.

Qualifications

• Experience with Netlify and cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with web markup including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• GraphQL is a plus.
• Mobile development experience with focus on responsive design and mobile optimization.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind with strong frontend practices.
• Experience with Storybook, Cypress, and Jest ensuring high-quality code and efficient testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain web applications using React.js/Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to implement and maintain UI/UX designs.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability for web and mobile.
• Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and web services via RESTful APIs.
• Stay up to date with front-end trends, including GraphQL, cloud technologies, and mobile experience.
• Perform continuous testing with Storybook, Cypress, and Jest to ensure high-quality code.
