Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Developer to join the FADE program and build mission-critical, cloud and edge-native applications with advanced situational awareness.

You will lead front-end development using JavaScript and TypeScript, collaborate with backend teams, mentor juniors, and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver scalable, secure software for national security missions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a TS/SCI clearance; polygraph preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern web application development tools.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and distributed systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and related front-end frameworks.
• Balance maintenance of a large, legacy codebase with new requirements using contemporary web technologies.
• Create intuitive applications that handle large data sets and real-time updates.
• Engage with stakeholders and operations team to ensure high-quality product development.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and WebSocket services.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to leverage event-driven architectures.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
