Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Front-End Application Services. This position located in Foxboro, MA, is eligible for remote work up to three days a week. The role offers a competitive salary of $178,131–$185,220 per year plus additional incentives.

Key responsibilities include developing and supporting application services, designing RESTful APIs, and optimizing performance. Candidates should have at least 5 years of software engineering experience, with strong Java and cloud-native software development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive backend software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of professional Java development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and support customer-facing application services.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Profile and optimize application latency and throughput.
