Job summary

TIAG is seeking a Senior Front End Developer in Arlington, VA, to design and maintain scalable web applications for the Office of Naval Research. The role requires onsite work five days a week and a secret security clearance to start.

You will implement Angular-based UI, collaborate with design teams, and ensure performance and accessibility across devices. Responsibilities include API integration, unit testing with Jasmine/Karma, and contributing to design systems while translating Figma

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in front end software development.
• Experience with Angular (v2+) and responsive, performance-driven UI implementations.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern web standards.
• Familiarity with design teams and translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect UI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Angular with a focus on performance.
• Collaborate with back-end developers for API integrations.
• Write clean, modular code and maintain unit tests (Jasmine/Karma).
• Optimize for speed, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Contribute to design systems and UI components from Figma specifications.
