Job summary

Chekhub is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to lead the development of its core web platform. You’ll work with product and design to translate complex operational workflows into fast, intuitive interfaces for mission-critical teams.

This is a hands-on lead role that shapes front-end architecture and mentors peers. Based in Raleigh, NC, you’ll collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and ship features end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in front-end engineering, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience with modern state management and build tooling.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools (Claude/ChatGPT).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain performant, accessible front-end features across Chekhub's React-based web application.
• Partner with product and design to translate complex operational workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces.
• Serve as the front-end lead — owning architecture decisions and advising peers as the platform and team scale.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define clean API contracts and ship features end to end.
• Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned or as business needs require.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to lead the development of Chekhub's core web platform. You'll work closely with product and design to turn complex operational workflows into fast, intuitive interfaces for the mission critical teams who rely on Chekhub every day. This is a hands-on lead role — you'll shape front-end architecture and advise other engineers as the team grows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain performant, accessible front-end features across Chekhub's React-based web application.
• Partner with product and design to translate complex operational workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces.
• Serve as the front-end lead — owning architecture decisions and advising peers as the platform and team scale.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define clean API contracts and ship features end to end.
• Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned or as business needs require.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in front-end engineering, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar) and modern build tooling (Webpack, npm, or Yarn).
• Familiarity with AI tools for productivity (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar).
• Self-starter who can operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Must be located in the Raleigh, NC area.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working closely with UI/UX designers and design systems (Figma or similar).
• Background building dashboards, admin tools, or workflow/operations-management software.
