A leading financial technology company seeks a Senior Frontend Application Engineer to build and optimize user interfaces for their core products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript frameworks, cloud services, and a proven track record in frontend application development. This position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $160,000 and a comprehensive benefits package including health and tuition reimbursement.
This remote position requires the candidate to reside within 30 miles of one of the following locations: Portland, ME; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; San Francisco Bay Area, CA; and Seattle/WA. Life insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement are provided as part of the benefits.

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Application Engineer with specialized expertise in building robust, modern web interfaces and user experiences. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who combines deep knowledge of frontend frameworks, UI/UX best practices, and performance optimization with a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure and DevOps principles. This role requires a unique blend of skills to navigate the complexities of delivering trusted, secure, and highly compliant user experiences while adhering to stringent security and accessibility standards.
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
