Job summary

Workleap in Montreal is seeking a frontend-focused developer to design and evolve scalable UI in React and TypeScript. You will join a cross-functional squad to deliver high-quality interfaces and participate in technical and product decisions.

You’ll contribute to a growing component library, collaborate with Product and Design, and help shape frontend architecture for long-term maintainability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Fullstack development experience with React and backend integration.
• Proficiency in C# .NET and SQL databases.
• Strong interest in product development and delivering value.

Responsibilities

• Ship high-quality, performant front-end features in React and TypeScript that meet UX standards from the earliest milestones.
• Translate user needs into shipped experiences in partnership with Product and Design.
• Grow a reusable component library and design system to speed delivery.
• Read existing code and extend backend when needed to prevent frontend bottlenecks.
• Deliver interfaces with strong performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Influence frontend architecture and engineering practices at scale.
• Keep the codebase healthy through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to product and technical decisions through team discussions.
