Job summary

IPolarity is seeking a Sr Front-End Architect to lead the design and delivery of high-performance web experiences. You will steer React + TypeScript architectures, collaborate with Product/UX, and guide front-end standards, accessibility, and security.

This role is onsite in Jersey City and reports to engineering leadership, with a focus on mentoring teams and driving scalable solutions. You will partner with backend teams on API contracts, optimize performance, and shape the frontend roadmap.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering with deep frontend focus
• Expert-level React proficiency with hooks, context and rendering behavior
• Strong TypeScript skills, modern JavaScript fundamentals
• Deep experience with frontend tooling and build pipelines
• Strong CSS skills: responsive design and theming at scale
• Advanced testing practices and E2E frameworks
• Accessibility expertise per WCAG/ARIA
• Performance engineering including Core Web Vitals and optimization
• API integration via GraphQL/REST with modern client patterns
• Security-aware frontend development and secure auth patterns
• Observability for frontend: logs, metrics, debug tooling
• Must use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate implementation

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex, user-facing web apps with React + TS
• Partner with UX/Product to translate designs with attention to performance and accessibility
• Establish and evolve front-end standards and design systems
• Build using UI foundations: design tokens, theming, responsive layouts
• Drive performance: Core Web Vitals, bundle optimization, caching
• Implement rich UI features: data visualization, real-time updates
• Ensure secure client-side patterns and secure storage
• Collaborate with backend on API contracts and patterns
• Evaluate technologies and vendor options
• Mentor teams and establish coding standards
