Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Senior Freight Security Specialist in Lancaster, TX. You will monitor high-value shipments, assess security risks, and coordinate responses to alerts using GPS, telematics, and geofencing.

The role requires 3–5 years in transportation or cargo security, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong attention to detail. Work hours are evenings, Monday–Friday, with a base pay range announced by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or cargo security.
• Experience using GPS tracking, telematics, geofencing, or security monitoring technology.

Responsibilities

• Review high-value shipments to confirm security requirements are established.
• Monitor shipments using GPS/telematics and identify route deviations or security concerns.
• Evaluate security exceptions and determine appropriate actions or escalations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Safety, Compliance and external partners during security events.
• Maintain accurate security records and prepare summaries for management.
