Job summary

WEX Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Credit Data Scientist to advance fraud risk modeling across products and services. You will partner with stakeholders to translate risk needs into data-driven solutions and deploy scalable models in production.

You will mentor junior data scientists, stay current with ML trends, and help drive measurable improvements in risk decisioning while collaborating with risk and analytics teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data science, ML, and AI with a focus on fraud risk in financial services.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Data Science, OR, CS).
• Strong knowledge of fraud risk drivers across SMBs, public or private firms.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience handling large datasets.
