Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Paramus, NJ seeks a Senior Framer to build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions. You will help customers shop, prepare framing orders, and maintain a safe, well merchandised store.

Responsibilities include operating the framing equipment, delivering on sales targets, training teammates, supporting KPI goals, handling cash, and assisting with truck unloads. Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Act in lead capacity in the absence of the Framing Manager.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unload and stocking.
