The Senior FPGA & Imaging Systems Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Morrisville, NC. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and verification of FPGA-based architectures for advanced imaging systems, including development of image processing pipelines, sensor interfaces, and high-speed data paths. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining system requirements, creating hardware and firmware specifications, coding and simulating FPGA logic, integrating imaging sensors and optics, and performing system-level bring-up and debugging in the lab. The engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams in hardware, software, and product engineering to optimize image quality, performance, and reliability for automotive and industrial applications. Additional tasks include documenting designs, supporting validation and production test activities, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
