Job summary

Anduril Industries in Reston, Virginia is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to rapidly develop, test, and implement FPGA designs on Xilinx SoC platforms. You will contribute across the full design life cycle, from requirements to board bring-up, with a focus on high-speed interfaces and signal processing. The role requires 8+ years of FPGA experience, strong VHDL/Verilog, and an active U.S.

Secret security clearance. Travel up to 25% to Santa Ana may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional FPGA design and development experience; Xilinx SoC preferred.
• Proficient with Vivado, ModelSim or Quartus.
• Proficient in VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience in SoC hardware bring-up, preferably on ARM-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate third-party vendors IP as necessary.
• Participate in entire design life cycle from requirements to board bring up.
• Implement high-speed interfaces and signal processing (analog/digital).
• Ensure designs meet safety and performance standards with traceability to system requirements.
• Investigate and resolve bugs at HDL and system levels.
• Travel up to 25% to the Santa Ana location.
