Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Specialist FPGA Electrical Engineer with a desire to work in a cooperative team environment to develop and verify embedded Modem and RF Communication Systems Digital Signal processing solutions in FPGA firmware.

As an FPGA Developer, you will analyze requirements, architect, and design FPGA based solutions for Modems, RF Transmission Systems, and Satellite Communication Systems. This role supports space and defense technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 0–2 years with Master’s degree, or 2+ years experience with a Bachelor’s.
• Experience in FPGA design for Modems, RF transmission, and satellite systems.
• Strong DSP knowledge and signal processing for RF communications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and architect FPGA-based solutions for Modems and RF systems.
• Develop, validate, and verify FPGA firmware and DSP algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design requirements and reviews.
• Perform timing, clock domain, and interface analysis (SERDES, LVDS, I2C, SPI).
• Prepare and participate in design reviews and test plans.
