Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA to design, verify, and implement complex programmable hardware for rail signaling. Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of FPGA or embedded hardware experience.
• Proven FPGA/programmable logic development using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Experience with Intel Quartus, Xilinx Vivado, ModelSim/Questa.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, verification, and maintenance of FPGA-based hardware.
• Collaborate with product, systems, software and manufacturing teams to define specs.
• Develop testbenches, verification plans, and compliance documentation.
