Job summary

HARMAN Lifestyle is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer in Richardson, TX with 5+ years of Verilog HDL experience to design FPGAs for audio and video products. The role includes leading design choices and collaborating with a team on RTL, SERDES and DDR interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering and hands-on work with Zynq/SoC devices, and strong communication skills to mentor peers and support personnel.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years Verilog HDL programming experience.
• Experience with FPGA families (Altera/AMD Xilinx) and high-speed SERDES.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop FPGAs for audio/video products.
• Lead design decisions as SME for targeted technologies.
• Testbench RTL and verification alongside hardware engineers.
• Maintain and support existing FPGA-based products.
