Job summary

Amentum seeks a Computer Systems / Electrical Engineer with FPGA expertise to support U.S. Navy and Department of War programs in a state‑of‑the‑art on-site lab facility.

You will interface with program offices, guide project status, and help manage technical efforts in a fast-paced environment. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in a related field and 5 years of hands-on FPGA experience with Verilog/VHDL, plus the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Five years of hands-on experience with FPGA design, simulation, and synthesis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Active Secret Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform FPGA design, simulation, and synthesis.
• Perform Verification and Validation of performer capabilities.
• Develop Government off the Shelf (GOTS) FPGA Assurance capabilities.
