Universal Avionics in Duluth, GA seeks a Senior FPGA Logic Design Engineer to design, verify, and integrate FPGA-based avionics hardware for safety-critical systems. You'll collaborate with hardware, software, systems, and certification teams across the full development lifecycle.

You'll apply VHDL/Verilog, perform simulations, lab testing, and DO-254 guidance to deliver robust, high‑reliability aerospace solutions with real-world impact.

Competenze

• 7+ years of FPGA / digital logic design experience.
• Strong VHDL and/or Verilog experience.
• Experience with FPGA simulation, debugging, and verification tools.
• Strong understanding of digital design and FPGA architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system‑level issues.
• Aerospace, avionics, defense, or safety‑critical experience highly preferred.
• DO-254 experience is a strong plus.

• Design, develop, test, and debug FPGA/firmware solutions for advanced avionics systems
• Develop PLD requirements, architectures, and detailed design data
• Perform simulation, verification, hardware integration, and lab testing
