Job summary

CircuitHire seeks an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join a fast-growing wireless technology company, focusing on avionics and defense sectors. Based in Los Angeles, you will drive end-to-end FPGA designs, convert DSP algorithms to HDL, and contribute to advanced R&D projects across the full development lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of FPGA design, strong VHDL/Verilog skills, and a solid DSP background.

Responsibilities

• Own FPGA designs from end-to-end.
• Convert MATLAB DSP algorithms into HDL for FPGA implementation.

• Design digital architectures for wireless systems.
• Collaborate closely with DSP, RF, and software engineering teams.

You'd join their highly skilled team in Los Angeles, where you'll contribute across the full development lifecycle of cutting-edge wireless communication products, with a focus on implementing DSP algorithms. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to FPGA designs for advanced R&D projects.

Salary range:

• $160,000 – $220,000 (depending on experience)
• Additional compensation + strong benefits package
