AeroVironment seeks skilled FPGA engineers to join a multi‑disciplinary Space Tech team building high‑reliability firmware and RTL for SOc/FPGA platforms. Work includes SpaceWire, MIL‑STD interfaces, and radiation‑hardened environments.
Responsibilities cover RTL/firmware development, peripheral interfaces, and automated build scripts, plus system integration and validation in aerospace tests.

AV is seeking skilled and adaptable FPGA engineers to work as members of a multi-disciplinary team supporting multiple technology areas. Our Space Tech division develops high-performance electromechanical, electro‑optical, control, and communication systems. These solutions include digital signal processing algorithms deployed using System on Chip (SoC) or Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) in combination with General Purpose Processors (GPPs) and microcontrollers.

The salary range for this role is: $112,500 - $171,750
This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
