Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in engineering or related discipline and 4+ years for PhD, 7+ for MS, 9+ for BS.
• Must understand engineering concepts and apply them across evolving environments.
• Ability to learn quickly, organize work, and collaborate to solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital FPGA designs targeting AMD/Xilinx FPGAs with some analog/interface and power conversion.
• Develop designs incorporating microprocessors and vector processors using high-level design tools.
• Explore System on Chip (SoC) and embedded firmware development.
• Utilize Xilinx/AMD ISE, Vivado, Matlab, Simulink, and System Generator for design and verification.
• Perform JTAG boundary scan test and debugging as needed.
• Maintain documentation and records to support version control, production release and training.
• Provide field support as required.
