Job summary

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior FPGA Design Engineer to join the FPGA Core team. You will own end-to-end FPGA designs for communications, embedded processing, sensor interfacing and motor control within world-class robotic systems.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver safe, reliable FPGA solutions, leveraging AMD Versal and Zynq MPSoC platforms, while advancing verification and bring-up methodologies.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelors or MS in electrical or computer engineering.
• Minimum 8 years designing complex FPGA modules.
• Fluent in System-Verilog/Verilog; VHDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own entire FPGA designs from concept to production.
• Develop modular FPGA content for shared applications.
• Collaborate with FPGA Verification to ensure coverage and quality.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement FPGA designs from concept to system integration.
