Job summary

Aerospace and Defense is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer in Santa Ana, CA, to join the FPGA Design and Integration team. Lead architecture, RTL design, and verification efforts for production-ready FPGA solutions.

Collaborate across electrical, firmware/software, test, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver robust designs. The role requires 8+ years in FPGA design with VHDL/Verilog, hands-on tooling (Vivado/Quartus), and a strong track record of timing closure in high-reliability

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
• 8+ years of professional FPGA design in aerospace/defense/high-reliability systems.
• Experience with FPGA architecture, RTL design, verification, and timing closure.
• Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain FPGA-based digital logic for products across the full lifecycle.
• Build FPGA architectures and RTL designs using VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog based on requirements.
• Own the FPGA development flow including simulation, verification, debugging, synthesis, implementation, timing analysis, and optimization.
• Create FPGA verification strategies, test benches, and hardware validation activities.
• Integrate FPGA designs with processors, memory, clocks, and high-speed interfaces; troubleshoot across FPGA, electrical, and firmware boundaries.
