Job summary

Vaco by Highspring, a high-growth SaaS company backed by private equity, seeks a Senior FP&A professional in Raleigh, NC. You will own forecasting, model development, and executive reporting, partnering with leadership to drive profitability and strategic planning.

You will analyze ARR/MRR, churn, and CAC, translate data into actionable insights, and lead cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Accounting. Strong SaaS finance experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical roles.
• Prior SaaS/software industry experience is required.
• Strong understanding of ARR, MRR, churn, retention, LTV, CAC and recurring revenue metrics.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, and profitability modeling.
• Experience building SaaS-focused models including ARR waterfalls, headcount and long-range planning.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong cross-functional partnering with leadership.
• Interest in leveraging AI/automation for financial reporting.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare executive leadership, board, and investor reporting packages, including monthly business reviews and quarterly presentations.
• Lead variance analysis against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and translating findings into actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain financial models supporting forecasting, strategic planning, and operational decision-making.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Accounting to support planning and performance management.
• Perform product, customer, and business unit profitability analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
• Support strategic initiatives including M&A analysis, market research, benchmarking, and business case development.
• Administer and analyze sales commission programs, ensuring accuracy in calculations and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve FP&A via technology and AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop executive-ready presentations and communicate financial results to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
