Job summary

Schwab seeks a Senior Manager in Corporate FP&A Expense Management to lead enterprise expense forecasting, reporting, and performance management. You’ll partner with Enterprise Finance and business leaders to consolidate forecast results, explain variances, and drive an accurate expense outlook for senior leadership.

You’ll own consolidation and reporting processes, conduct ad hoc analysis, and support governance and controls in a fast-paced, highly visible environment, with hybrid work options

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis and reporting.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and expense management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to simplify complex problems.
• Proven ability to influence outcomes through collaboration and communication.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with TM1 and planning systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise expense planning, forecasting, consolidation, and management reporting across monthly forecasts and planning cycles.
• Partner with Enterprise Finance and business leaders to consolidate forecast results, risks, opportunities, and variance explanations.
• Own enterprise Scale and Efficiency consolidation and reporting which shapes our forecast outlook.
• Analyze expense performance, forecast variances, business drivers, and emerging trends to develop actionable insights.
• Develop and communicate the enterprise expense story for executive reviews and presentations.
• Support KPI reporting, scenario analysis, and risk assessments to improve decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance partners to improve forecast accuracy and transparency.
• Coordinate Finance governance, controls, and compliance activities in forecasting and reporting.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling for strategic initiatives.
• Build trusted partnerships across Finance and the business in a fast-paced environment.
