About the Role:

As the Senior FP&A Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to support the company’s growth strategy. This position is responsible for leading the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, as well as analyzing and reporting on financial results to help guide strategic decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, strategic financial guidance, and forecasting to ensure we are optimizing resources, driving profitability, and achieving our financial goals. The position will also support our forecasting process, including target and KPI setting, and assessing the risks and opportunities of ongoing monthly and quarterly forecasts.

Well-versed in financial modeling, with the ability to identify key model drivers and build complex financial models, as well as operational models to forecast the future with accuracy. Track record of maintaining and improving business processes, and ideally have designed and implemented new processes from scratch. Driven by metrics, and strive to partner across the organization to help add value to the business wherever possible. Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex financial concepts across a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to build and maintain complex financial models to support My Code’s growth.
  • Oversee, consolidate and manage the FP&A functions including annual budgeting, monthly forecast, long-range plan, variance analysis, financial packages and board presentations.
  • Work closely with the accounting team on variance analysis, and other special projects.
  • Partner with key leaders across the organization to identify new growth opportunities and perform ad-hoc analysis.
  • Leverage financial systems and tools to automate data gathering and reporting processes, improving decision-making.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and offer actionable insights to the executive team.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving initiatives to optimize financial operations.
  • Continuously improve financial planning, analysis, and reporting systems and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
  • Drive initiatives to improve profitability and financial efficiency across business units, including the identification and execution of cost-saving opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining financial reporting and analysis processes, including dashboards and (KPIs) that provide insight into the company's financial performance.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, FP&A Software, Power BI, etc.).
  • Provide full financial support for M&A deals, financial forecasting and valuation analysis.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling support for special projects, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) opportunities, and other high-priority business initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts across different audiences.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
  • Expert skills in executive level / board-quality presentation materials in PowerPoint required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experienced in using financial systems (Netsuite, Bill.com, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion both internally and externally.

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the online media landscape, digital revenue models, and key industry drivers such as subscription services, advertising, content monetization, etc.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively address them.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, strategy or related roles

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $155,000. The salary and bonus structure is determined on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
