Job summary

SEON, a leading fraud prevention platform, is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to own G&A and operating expense planning across the corporate P&L. You will report to the Director of FP&A and partner with budget owners to deliver accurate forecasts and insightful analyses.

Based in Budapest with a hybrid schedule or remote across Europe, the role involves monthly close, variance analysis, and consolidated reporting to support strategic decisions with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical role.
• Strong understanding of monthly close, budget vs actuals, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Advanced financial modeling skills and comfort with FP&A tools.
• Experience partnering with department heads and budget owners with clear communication.
• Attention to detail and reliable data.
• Familiarity with VC-backed startup fundraising, investor reporting, and scaling pace.

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A for G&A and operating expenses, including headcount, travel and entertainment, software spend, and departmental budgets.
• Support R&D and product cost planning, including engineering headcount cost planning and capitalization support.
• Lead the monthly budget vs actuals cycle for all departments outside GTM and COGS, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Prepare first-draft consolidated reporting and board-deck inputs using our FP&A platform.
• Act as the primary finance business partner for non-revenue functions, providing day-to-day support and insights.
• Own core FP&A system workflows including templates, monthly refreshes, and data integrity.

We're hiring a Senior FP&A Manager to take operational ownership of financial planning and analysis across our corporate P&L. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this person will own core reporting rhythms, support planning across non-revenue functions, and serve as a trusted finance partner to budget owners across the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who values clean data, sharp variance analysis, and practical decision support.

This role offers flexibility and can be based in Budapest with a hybrid schedule, or anywhere in EMEA with a remote setup, including occasional travel to our other offices.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Own FP&A for G&A and operating expenses, including headcount, travel and entertainment, software spend, and departmental budgets
• Support R&D and product cost planning, including engineering headcount cost planning and capitalization support
• Lead the monthly budget vs actuals cycle for all departments outside GTM and COGS, including variance analysis, commentary, and follow-up with budget owners
• Prepare first-draft consolidated reporting and board-deck inputs using our FP&A platform
• Act as the primary finance business partner for non-revenue functions, providing day-to-day support, insight, and challenge
• Own core FP&A system workflows including templates, monthly refreshes, and data integrity

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role, ideally in SaaS or another high-growth environment
• Strong understanding of monthly close, budget vs actuals, forecasting, and management reporting
• Advanced financial modeling skills and comfort working in FP&A tools
• Experience partnering with department heads and budget owners, with the ability to communicate clearly and credibly
• Strong attention to detail and a bias toward accurate, reliable data
• Familiarity with the VC-backed startup environment, including fundraising cycles, investor reporting, and the pace of scaling
