Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead senior finance activities for the Consulting line of business
• Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
• Drive Consulting financial performance and strategic decisions
• Collaborate with leadership to define strategies and objectives
• Oversee budget, contracts, technology needs, cost analysis, and M&A activity
• Participate in executive committees as the finance information expert
• Present financials and opportunities to firm-wide leaders
• Manage operating expenses and variance analyses
• Ensure integrity of financial reporting and insights
• Lead operational analysis and KPI reporting for revenue growth
• Translate market insights into forecasts and forward-looking narratives
• Deliver financial plans meeting revenue and profit goals
• Coordinate period-close activities and journal entries
• Motivate and develop a high-performing global finance team
• Drive collaboration and business-improvement initiatives

• Serve as senior finance leader for the Consulting line of business


• Oversee financial and operational activities, financial reporting, summaries, forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and financial analysis


• Drive Consulting financial performance and advise on business-critical decisions and strategies


• Collaborate with leadership to define strategies and objectives aligned with the firm's direction


• Oversee Consulting budget, contract management, technology needs, cost analysis, reporting, forecasting, and M&A activity


• Participate in executive committees and initiatives as the financial information expert


• Present financial performance, strategies, and opportunities to firm-level executive leaders


• Manage enterprise operating expenses, forecasts, actual-versus-forecast variances, and spending benchmarks


• Validate and oversee the integrity and comprehension of financial reporting


• Lead operational analysis and reporting of key performance metrics to support revenue and profit growth


• Translate business and market insights into forward-looking narratives and forecasts


• Deliver financial plans meeting targeted revenue and profit goals


• Create ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for senior leaders


• Coordinate with the Controller on period close activities, journal entries, and variance analysis


• Motivate and develop a high-performing global finance team


• Drive collaboration, communication, and business improvement initiatives
