Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Consultant, Financial Planning and Analysis to provide professional FP&A support to executives, review financial statements, and assist with annual budget and quarterly forecasts.

You will analyze performance across multiple business lines, develop budgets with regional finance, generate variance reports, and coordinate with operations to monitor A/R and WIP. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of operational finance/accounting in a dynamic organization; professional services/consulting experience preferred.
• Trustworthy, self-motivated, goal- and team-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently.
• Proficient with financial metrics in consulting/engineering environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial performance and profitability across multiple business lines.
• Collaborate with executives to establish budgets and forecasts.
• Produce and review financial reports; escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain quality control of project financial records (Oracle/Excel).
• Investigate variances and submit variance reports to management.
• Support ad hoc reporting (P&L, GL) as required.
• Monitor A/R and WIP with operations for corrective action.
• Assist with budgets and forecast documentation and justifications.
• Perform special projects requested by management.
