Job summary

News Corp in New York is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead consolidation and deliver high-impact reporting for strategic decision making. You will manage the close process, coach one direct report, and collaborate with accounting, tax, and systems leads to ensure integrity in financial reporting.

Reporting to the VP, FP&A, the role requires strong Excel skills, SAP/TM1 experience, and the ability to drive variance analyses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant commercial finance experience.
• High degree of proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace apps.
• Experience maintaining accounting records and preparing financial reports.
• Strong analytical skills with problem-solving ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (preferred).
• Experience with SAP and TM1 is preferred.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee consolidation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly results and forecasts into management presentations.
• Ensure timely submissions to News Corp.
• Lead the budget and long-range plan process to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency.
• Summarize the revenue and cost drivers and trends for senior management.
• Maintain routine financial performance reports and conduct variance and trending analyses to monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Manage month-end close processes with a primary focus on revenue and cost analysis.
• Partner and oversee corporate functions as well as partnerships team.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and projects as needed to meet financial or business demands.
• Collaborate with FP&A colleagues to share best practices and ensure cohesive team operation.
