Job summary

Waters Corporation in Milford, MA seeks a Principal FP&A Analyst to advance Finance Systems and Process Optimization. Lead automation of AOP processes, redesign reporting post-ERP go-live, and build scalable dashboards to improve accuracy, speed, and decision making across the organization.

The role partners with ASD Finance teams to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and enable a more insight-driven FP&A function. Requires strong FP&A expertise and business partnering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
• 7-12+ years of progressive FP&A, commercial finance, or financial systems experience
• Strong experience with AOP cycles, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
• Demonstrated ability to automate financial processes using Excel/VBA, SQL, or BI tools
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, ERP systems, and CRM platforms (Salesforce a plus)
• Proven track record of partnering with crossfunctional teams and influencing decisions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into executiveready insights
• Ability to operate effectively in a fastchanging, matrixed environment

Responsibilities

• Redesign planning processes for efficiency and transparency
• Build scalable tools to reduce cycle time and improve accuracy
• Establish data governance, reporting standards, and documentation of models and dashboards
• Build driver-based models supporting resource allocation and LR planning
• Support ROI analysis, scenario modeling and tracking
• Translate complex data into executive-ready insights
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for performance and trends
• Integrate data from ERP, CRM and other systems into a unified analytics environment
• Drive self-service analytics adoption across Finance and partners
• Develop automated reporting packages that replace legacy processes
