Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks a Senior Manager of Financial Analysis & Reporting to stabilize and optimize the new ERP-driven processes. This role will lead financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis across UCM/BSD funds, partnering with leadership and administrators to deliver accurate insights and scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• CPA or other audit-related certificate holder strongly preferred.
• Experience in Healthcare, University or not-for-profit organization strongly preferred.
• Financial analysis and modeling experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BSD leadership, UCM Finance, department and unit administrators, and other key stakeholders to identify analytic needs, including design/improvement of reporting and data collection mechanisms.
• Ensure data integrity across FP&A databases and shared UCM/BSD databases.
• Deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting to support strategic decision-making across FP&A functions.
• Troubleshoot and improve routine and complex analytic processes.
• Engage with and leverage AI tools to streamline, automate, and scale outputs.
