Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support FP&A and Tech Strategy Finance, developing methods and processes for transparent financial results and identifying opportunities.

The role requires collaboration with business leadership and strong communication to convey insights and financial impacts. Responsibilities include financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, executive presentations, and leading selected projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience required.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience with financial modeling.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.

Responsibilities

• Financial analysis & reporting: Analyze and explain key drivers and manage regular reporting.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management responsibilities.
• Prepare and present analyses to senior leadership audiences.
• Handle ad-hoc acquisition-related topics as needed.
• Independently manage, prioritize, and delegate tasks; act as project lead on defined responsibilities.
